Any pitch causing this type of movement on a ball will cause increased torque and strain on the elbow, no getting around it. Really, the only pitch with movement that will not usually jeopardize one's arm is the "knuckle" ball. Unfortunately, a knuckle ball will not instill fear in a hitter like a nasty slider.
I'm a 6 to 6'1 left handed pitcher, with all my work outs, I should be throwing 88-93. what are my chances of possibly getting drafted?

when a team has a day off do they skip the pitcher that would pitch that do or does that pitcher pitch the next game thanx!
