Why do people drive slow in the fast lane?

    Why oh why do people who speed think that they are the only people on the road and everyone else had better get out of their way? I drive in the left lane on the interstate, but I don't speed. I go 65 miles per hour and if someone behind me doesn't like it, there ARE two other lanes to drive in, thank you very much. I drive a very small car, and since tractor trailers aren't allowed in the far left lane, that's where I choose to be (My car literally disappears when it's surrounded by 18 wheelers, not to mention the fact that I get blown all over the road by them - so I'd rather distance myself if possible). Now, I can understand your gripe *somewhat* if you mean people who are driving slower than the speed limit, since that tends to clog the road up (most people use the left lane for getting ahead of and around all those big trucks, so if some slowpoke is jamming up the left lane, well... that irritates me, too). However, I refuse to move my economy-sized butt over for someone who simply wants to speed past me.

    • Well sorry you drive a small car, but that was your choice. Why should I have to suffer? You decided to get a small car, and now fear bigger vehicles? Grow up... Otherwise I might just change lanes and not see ya... oops... :/ lol...

    • Sorry Anonymous person...but you are exactly the kinda driver i want to run over...The left Lane is not "YOURS" DUMBASS....and nobody cares about ur stupid ass econmoy sized vehicle getting blown off the road by a Chevy....The Left Lane is specifically there for two types of people.....1. somebody actually trying to get somewhere with a purpose...and 2. somebody possibly risking a speeding ticket...plain and simple...now move the fuck over, cuz i gotta take a shit!!!!

    • What a horrible driver you are! How STUPID you are! The freeway works for EVERYONE... when the left lanes are going faster and the right lanes are going slower. That creates flow! But you have to screw it all up with your insanely illogical way of looking at it and your selfish adherence to old habits. People like you deserve to crash into a pole.
