You're reading Why do people often prefer 'natural' medicine, as opposed to 'artificial' medicine, when the 'artificial' medicine is simply a refined, often safer extract of the natural product? It's like smearing mould over a wound to stop an infection...

I agree with everything you've said to a degree, I think for the more common ailments, artificial medicine is advanced enough that it is well beyond anything natural medicine can provide, but for more complex, or recently discovered ailments, natural medicines will have their place :)
