Niceness and being "well-adjusted" is not the same as being righteous. God set the standard of righteousness and homosexuality is not the standard. "Judge not" is not applicable here because anyone who agrees with God-- and what is written in His Word will tell you objectively that homosexuality is sinful. The person who says homosexuality is sin is not judging, but agreeing with God who Himself IS judging homosexuality to be sin. God set the standard, not the person who tells you that homosexuality is sinful.
That pastor would be wrong to baptize them, no matter how likable the gay people seemed to be.
