Help answer this question below.

In the bible it says Goliath is 9'9'' tall. BUT on the discovery channel scientist said they found ''older'' (than the bible) scriptures of the Dead Sea Scrolls that said goliath was ONLY 6'9'' tall....which one should i believe?

    The Bible is stories handed down for generations.
    I think we can assume that this particular story got exagerated a little. A man of 6'9" that long ago would have been a collosus. People were much shorter just 200 years ago let alone > 2000 years ago.
    As the stroy got retold by word of mouth before it finally got written down, Goliath would have grown and grown!

    So the older the records the more accurate they are likely to be.

    • Not so much exaggerated as simply corrupted slightly in copying.

      The error is quite easy if you understand Hebrew letters and numbers: the character for 4 is the dalet, and for 6 is vav (see http://www.templesanjose.org/JudaismInfo/writing/Hebrew_Alphabet.htm; both are in the first line.)
