If "carpe diem" is Latin for "seize the day," what would the Latin be for "enjoy the day"?

    Fruere die!

    Note that "fruor" is a deponent verb, hence what looks like the infinitive ending is actually the single imperative. Also, "fruor" takes the ablative, hence "die" instead of "diem".

    To address more than one person, use the plural imperative of "fruere" which is "fruimini".
