Help answer this question below.

My very good looking boyfriend constantly asks me about where we are in our relationship, how I feel about him, etc. Why would a hot guy want to be reassured all the time?

    Hmm. I notice that you pointed out how attractive this guy is twice... and refered to him as a "hot guy" rather than just a guy. I'm getting a strong vibe that the #1 reason you like this guy is for his heart-throb looks, and if so, that's your problem. Perhaps he's figured out that you only think of him as a "hot guy" and are ignoring all of his other good qualities (assuming he has some). If he's got any intelligence at all, he may have already figured out that once a "hotter guy" comes along, you're going to drop him like a dead skunk and chase after the new face. Nobody wants their partner to think of them as a piece of meat, and if he's cabbaged on to the fact that this is how you think of him, it's only natural to be insecure. He may be fishing for you to tell him that you like him for who he is, not how he looks. You might be well served to think of him as your "very sweet bf," or your "funny bf," or your "really smart bf," and let him know how you feel. If you find that you can't think of any other positive adjectives, do him a favor and hit the road--and do yourself a favor, and do some serious and mature soul-searching about what you want in a partner.
