You're reading How can I stop or slow down my period flow for a few hours?

That is weird because when you get a tattoo they suggest you don't drink before you get it done because booze will "thin" the blood and thereby cause more bleeding. Who needs to be all loaded up on liquor anyway, maybe the person is too young to drink legally also.

Well, I don't know WHY it works, and I DON'T recommend it. Apparently the women it helped had terrible periods with extremely heavy flow.

Yes, Alcohol does lessen your flow. that's how I came across this site. because I was searching about it because everytime I drink alcohol when I am on my period it stops for that whole night.. sometimes it lessens to really LIGHT pink pee. which if u bled through a little onto your pants would look nothing but a little water spot. same thing happens to my sister, and my cousin.
