Are you childfree? (As in "don't have kids, and don't want them in the future") Why or why not?

    I'm childfree. There was a window of time where there was a possibility, but that window has long closed and been walled up... I have no plans nor desire to change that.

    I'm too old to start a family and have become to selfish.

    I couldn't imagine it now... my child would be graduating high school after I retire! gah!

      I don't have kids either; we only got used to our lifestyles.

      I suffered minor trauma to the frontal cortex as a kid, impairing my vision and bonding feels like walking into a glass wall. LOL
      (Explains our differences, now to think of it. Hope I didn't overreact...)
      For me it's either fall in love but stay clear, or have a loveless relationship again.
      I'm not particularly interested in either one of them :-)

      Seems we both can't have our cake and eat it too.
