You're reading The Laws of Physics says matter cannot be created or destroyed, but surely everytime a baby is born matter is created?
Comments
Uhhh... look before you leap. Matter is something entirely different that Mass. Energy is Mass, which cannot be created or destroyed, only redistributed, or moved. Hence the Mass-energy equivalence, and it's the Law of Conservation of Energy or Mass, not Matter.
Uhhh, also you are wrong about pregnant women needing to eat a lot. If they eat a lot (especially of the foods readily available in our fast-paced society) then they will become fat, and increase the chances of their child becoming obese or overweight during childhood. Pregnant women need to eat healthy food, to redistribute the natural energy from the Earth into their own bodies as well as their developing fetus, and consume this vital nutrition in the form of whole foods. If you eat only whole foods, then it is okay to eat until you are full, multiple of times a day. ;-)
