Why do people insist that Canada is a socialist country? When we are clearly not. We do look after our poor and sick--but does that count?

Well, first off would you want to share your $ w/ bums on the street, I mean ALL of it? Truethfully please! There IS a difference between Communism and Socialism, and people are far to selfish for the latter and, sadlly maybe to selfish for Socialism to right now.

Communism is a future stateless society where people give and take from a central pool of resources... That hasn't happened yet.
