And don't tell try to say that it is our embargo that is causing their problems. The rest of the world is free to trade with them, but that trade does the people no good because Castro benefits from their poverty.

I don't see how anybody can argue that the cubans are better off under Castro than they are under Babtista. At least with Babtista they had a thriving tourist trade. Now they are living in crushing poverty.

THis is not true. Lots of other countries do trade with Cuba. As a matter of fact, Cuba has a growing deficit because it can't pay them back.
