Do you think lying is intrinsically morally wrong, or is it only wrong when it leads to negative consequences? Why or why not?

    Lying isn't intrinsically wrong. I could imagine a number of situations when lying would be a moral thing to do.

    • But when you think about it, it can mess up your fluent language and can turn into an everyday thing. Therefore, lying is NOT okay for any particular reason!
