Can a person get infected if HIV-infected blood falls on unbroken skin?

    No, it has to come in contact with mucous membranes (mouth, eyes, groin, etc), or open wounds. Even then, the chance of contracting it from a cut, although there and very real, is small.

    • HIV is also 'fragile' meaning it dies fairly fast outside of the human body. Bleach water (1:9 ratio) kills it.
