Why can't people who disagree with the bible just ignore it but they have to keep on trying to score points over believers?

I do not because most believers have minds that are locked tighter than a steel trap.

It is an exercise in futility.

I will have discussions about theology as long as they are not trying to convert me. I enjoy theological discussions.

Why won't believers leave non-believers alone? Why do they have to convert us and badger us until we do, which most of is will NOT?
