Yes but not having any restraints has been proven to be worse.
I have had bruises from a seatbelt.... bruises heal! I have also seen the results of no seatbealts, not a good thing!
When riding in the car do you hold the handle above the door, on the dashboard, or on the door frame across from the mirror outside?
