Pitch black, iceridden, rocky worlds. They are in need of some heat and light. Would it be possible to recreate the intense effects of a star artificially to bring these dull rocks to life?

i believe we'll be able to build domes with plant life growing under it, this seems like a very possible option

A artificial gravity would be fairly easy to create all you would need is compressed matter strengthening the gravity a bit. To get compressed matter all u would need to do is to put a certain amount of matter in a box made out of the hardest element known to man ( diamonds come to mind) fill the box with air till you have the right density. Gravity will keep it from falling apart after u remove it from the high pressure environment. (best to do this on the moon and have a hole ready to put it in because the gravity change will likely cause distortions if not in the right spot.)and now u have an Artificial gravity generator
