Over the course of many years we have had cats and dogs with suitable names:

Trevor, Gladys, Angus, Wayne, Claude, Sam, Slash, Barry and Jangle. (That's the cats)

Fonzie, Lucy and Bruce. (They were the dogs).

I knew a cat called Bodsworth, once. And a cat named MG (for Mongrel Guts), and my sister's dog was Deefer.
