If you're at the hospital, and your friend visits, what one thing would you want them to bring you?

a book, my ipod .... lets see i work at a hospital and the best thing would be.... yup. i go for a book. can let you escape

But being sick and reading a book gets so boring. I guess it depends on what's wrong with you, i had migraines and reading a book hurt my eyes.

oh yeah. in that case i wouldn't need anything from anyone just a morphine drip but NOTHING beats a good nurse.

Points for mentioning the nurse--but I would like a "compassionate, "understanding" Army Nurse. (If you get my drift.)

lol. yeah @ pathfinder.. they're out there but they have such a huge work load I can see why they get aggitated but when it comes to the pt. they're not there by choice they're scared etc... compassion goes a long way

Path: I am an RN, and I do get your drift, but I must "bragg" that there are some of us who aren't Army Nurses who also tend to the "needs" of the deserving military (and even some regular patients.)
