    Actually, Alaska has 7 of 10 of the highest mountains in the country. YEP, we're cool!

    • Actually the significance is not that you have the highest mountains but also that you start at sea level. Colorado has high mountains too but the lowest point is like 4,000 above sea level so the chance the questioner was looking for is not as dramatic.
      I'd guess that Washington and California would be the other two because Washington also starts at sea level and California actually has places below sea level.
