Do you have to be 'saved' to become a member of a Baptist Church?

    Yes and no. It depends on what kind of Baptists you're talking about. Generally, if they actually go by the Bible, yes. Others, maybe, maybe not.

    Frankly, baptists are so fragmented it's hard to tell what they really believe anymore... I'm saved, and I don't believe in belonging to a denomination, but I also don't believe that you're going to hell if you belong to one.
