The word nigger came from the the spanish word negro and latin word niger and enlish combined it to become "Nigger" But when it was in use back then it was no different than calling a spanish person spanish, it was influence and society that made it become deragatory.

    • Just like the name "redneck". That used to mean a hard working man that plowed his fields all day long, walking behind a mule. His neck got real tanned from the sun beating down on it all day.
I've seen it go from that to; a dirty name to call someone, to being stupid, to being sexy!
The kids change it about every 2 or 3 years. And nobody talks good english anymore!
You can tell how old a person is by what words they use. I sometimes have trouble figuring out what these kids are saying when they talk!
