Can a cop legally refuse to accept cash in person at time of recieving a ticket?

    Yes,

    Police officers cannot accept cash of any kind.

    Its a liability issue.

    It, by some standards, could be considered a bribe, if the transaction were videoed taped and used to discredit the police officer.

    • I am going to trust the cop on this one :)
      Besides, in NH you have 30 days to mail it in. If you can't come up with a check and a stamp in that time, you kind of deserve what happens next.
