What is Adderall used for? Is it a safe medication? Is it normal for baseball players or other athletes to use this medication?

    It's an amphetamine. Actually, it's four different types of amphetamines rolled into one package. Commonly prescribed for ADHD in adolescents and adults. It is a controlled substance, and has quite a high street value as it is a form of speed. If it's not prescribed for ADD or ADHD, then it has no medical merit whatsoever. It's NOT normal for athletes to use this medication, especially if it's not prescribed for them.
