DeLorean Gipson's claim that the Mclaren F1 is the fastest shows that he doesn't pay much attention to what's happening in the supercar world. The Bugatti Veyron was officially clocked on several runs at over 400 KPH (248.5 MPH) on May 20, 2005. That is less than 250 MPH, true, but it is faster than the Mclaren F1 is capable of going!

Also, the Koenigsegg CCR is claiming a higher top speed than the Mclaren F1, but for a truly accurate test, they should be run side-by-side (same day, same time, same place) so that all the conditions (wind, temperature, slope, etc) are exactly equal. Ditto for the Veyron when it finally makes it to production.

    Comments
    • The Bugatti has not reached 1,001 BHP yet and it is not out as of yet so what did I say wrong.
