Don't you sometimes find that something happens without any rational explanation for it? Well, that's weird shit. Now, you have the choice to either get angsty and dwell on it or get over it and accept that it has happened for some abstract reason and therefore consign it to the 'weird shit box'. It's kind of like the 'too-hard basket' for unexplained phenomena.
