Why is incest pornography illegal in the United States?

• Incest and pedophilia are two totally different things. One does not imply the other. The problem lies with those who choose to attack something they disagree with by connecting it to something unrelated.
  True, there are pedophiles out there who prey upon their own children, or other underage people who are related to them. However, it's because they are convenient. Therefore, the act of committing incest is secondary to the thrill these people derive from the act of pedophilia. Which was their intent when they set out. These people could commit pedophilia with anyone who is underage.
  Whereas, incest is sexual relations between two consenting people who are closely related. These two people could not go out and commit incest with just anyone.
  To say incest implies pedophilia is an insane notion. Making that argument, one could say that sex of any kind implies pedophilia. There is a better chance of a straight man or woman, or a gay man, or a lesbian woman committing pedophilia than those who commit incest, simply because there are greater numbers of those people.

  It's the same as the argument some women's groups make about porn. I've actually heard the following argument a few times: "It is fashionable now for women to shave their pussies, and many female porn stars do this. Know who else is bald down there? Little girls. Therefore, watching porn promotes pedophilia."

  Let's make another insane connection. Lets see...... People like to wear socks. Know who else wore socks? Hitler, Ted Bundy, and Jeffrey Dahmer. Therefore, anyone who has ever worn socks is a tyrannical, necrophiliac, cannibalistic mass murderer.
