Have you lost your faith in humanity? Why or why not?

    I lost my last shred of faith in humanity when I decided to try to converse with the kids from the junior high across the street from my house, I found I could'nt even carry on a conversation with them without having to explain what I was saying in simpler terms after every sentence.
    It was really depressing to see 14 year olds who did'nt know what the word "Semantics" means.

    • You lost your faith in humanity due to teenagers not knowing what a word means?! Seriously?! Can you really not see how ridiculous that sounds? There is so much more to humanity that literacy so stop being such an up your own arse education snob and try to see the bigger picture. Ok, granted you did say you "lost my last shred of faith in humanity"- which suggests that it wasn't the only thing that caused your lack of faith. I can only hope that the other things that caused you to lose faith in humanity were less trivial.
