I posted a question similar to this when I first started. If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it does it still make a sound.

of course it makes a sound. the air vibrations are changed and the fact that a human ear is not there to pick up the changes has nothing to do with anything.
now the question "if a man is alone in the woods, is he still wrong?" raises entirely different issues.
