What is PowerPoint, and what is it used for?

    PowerPoint is a presentation application for Windows and Macintosh computers originally developed by ForeThought under the name "Presenter", but then bought, currently developed and distributed by Microsoft. People doing presentations commonly use it to cover up the fact that they really have nothing to say.
