You're reading In the UK, Australia, & NZ, what are the relative popularities of football/soccer, rugby, cricket, and Australian-rules football? Like, is football/soccer first, with rugby more of a niche and a lot of people think cricket is for poofters, or what?

I didn't know they even PLAYED Australian Football in the UK. Maybe expatriate Aussies play a bit over there. They do play a bit of Aus Rules in Ireland, so they can play the mixed rules game (a blend of Australian and Gaelic football) against us.
They don't play AFL in NZ, either - at least not at a recognisable level.
