What do you think about illegal immigrants?

    Some people think they are heroic or something, but I do not. They are illegal and I don't quite understand why they have so many rights. I also find it highly insulting when people say that illegal immigrants do jobs that Americans aren't willing to do, as that is bull. There are no jobs that Americans aren't willing to do, just wages that Americans can't afford to work for, and which are ILLEGAL to pay someone anyway. I think the penalties for businesses who employ illegal immigrants should be MUCH stiffer. There are so many immigrants who came to the U.S. legally, and many of them took low-paying jobs and worked their butts off, and they did not do so in order that illegals could now benefit from the economic system - they did it so that their descendants could benefit. Now their descendants are getting shafted.

    • where do you buy your cloths? who makes them? the answer: illegals. Illegal workers, kids in sweatshops, do you care? no (or are they lessen humans becuase they live in other countries). of course americans can do the job but do americans realize the effect and the consecuences?

    • I also feel that children born to illegals should NOT be citizens of the United States. If we were to go illegally to any country in the world and have a child illegally in that country he or she would NOT be a citizen of that country. Also we would NOT be able to have jobs there. nor own a house if we went to any country illegally.

    • Actually...you are wrong. IF you were in another country and had a baby there, they WOULD be a legal citizen of that country, and not in America.

    • drlaurehater I guess you're not american than,since you ancestors didn't come from america, they just had babies here, so according to your own theory you should pack up and go back to England, Spain, or Portugal or where ever your original ancestors came from, may be ireland?

    • We have new neighbors in our neighborhood and its been such a nightmare. I think they are illegal immigrants because they don't speak English and they have such a huge party once a month and invite all of their family members over. We live in a culdesac and they have 20 kids in the culdesac playing football and soccer at the same time and they don't care when they hit the cars in the nieghborhood. Nobody wants to say anything to them because they are scared they might become L.A. gangster style on us. It is so disturbing when the kids play because the adults go inside and ignore them. They have 2 11 year old girls supposingly watching the little ones play outside while they text on their cell phones from 11am to 9:00pm at night. They just stare at us and other nieghbors when they see someone outside. Its so sad but we have been here for 20 years and the schools went from blonde to 90% Hispanic in Lake Elsinore District. The Horsethief Canyon community is mostly Hispanic now. The facilities have changed drastically since the change over. I heard the INS (im not sure if thats the correct abbreviation) used to cover Corona but because of budget cuts the Border police or INS had to cut down on territory and I heard thats why there are so many illegal immigrants in Lake Elsinore. You don't see many any Temecula because the INS covers this area.
