Wait until the child is born and demand a DNA test.

If you had such specific expectations of a child, such as that it be male instead of female, maybe you aren't really ready to be a parent - children do not live in order to fulfil our dreams - they live to fulfil their own.

Please seek help from a relationship counsellor; this issue seems to be more than you can handle at the moment.

Thanks for your answer, but I would not call our desire to have a boy a "specific demand". I have 2 children from a prev. rel. My daughter is 6, my son was stillborn. My husband wanted a son, although a healthy baby was always most important to us both. Its too bad there is a limit on characters for questions, I could have been more specific otherwise. I do sincerely appreciate your advice, I plan to seek professional help (for myself only) in the near future.

Good plan - maybe your husband will join you, as well. I didn't mean to come across as judmental; I just can't understand why anyone would want one gender over the other when it comes to babies - it's like dumping their expectations on a helpless infant. And try not to think of it as her 'giving' your husband a son; she might be hostile to him even having access and it smacks of an ownership attitude.
