Both of my ps2 controllers don't vibrate when playing games. I've gone into options while playing variouse games and select vibrate but still there is no vibration. What's the problem?

  I just got a ps2 and when im using the bottons at the browser/setting menue for the consule it works fine but when i put in a game it won't allow me to press x or o, i just bought a new controller 5 min ago, same problem
