If you break a mirror and don't see your reflection, what does this mean?

    Check your neck for holes. Chances are you have been bitten by a vampire. Legend has it that vampires (and those who have been bitten by vampire, therefore becoming vampires themselves) cast no reflection or shadow.

    This, by the way, comes from the idea that vampires are the living dead and therefore without a soul. For at death the soul is said to leave the body.

    If you are to believe that breaking a mirror effects your soul... perhaps it would be logical to assume that you would be unable to see your reflection after you broke a mirror as your soul (in other words, our reflection) is now damaged or missing. Practical experiments tend to discount this theory, however. So don't count on suddenly becoming invisible in newly sharded reflective glass.
