I just started taking the paper towels with me to open the door going out of the restroom at work, since another co-worker told me that there are some people there who do NOT wash their hands (even though there is a sign saying "For Sanitary Purposes, please was your hands after using this restroom".)

yeah, but if i started licking the doorknobs on a regular basis, eventually i'd probably have a killer immune system! (after catching some serious illnesses and overcoming them.) :D

I do that out of habit, now. I don't want to touch everyone elses germs knowing that a lot of people don't wash their hands after they used the bathroom....

Yeah this one freaks me out too. I cannot believe the amount of people out there that do not wash their hands! Do they not know what spreads the flu and who knows what other diseases from not washing their hands? It grosses me out that when I use the restroom at work and there are little kids who WANT to wash their hands, but their mothers are in too much of a hurry to help them wash their hands. EEW! Those kids could put their hands in their mouths and that is nasty, who teaches you better hygiene and manners then your parents? Come on people WASH YOUR HANDS!
If I am unable to wash my hands for some odd reason I seriously keep a small bottle of germ-x in my back pocket, in my purse, in my car, and even in my baby's diaper bag. I have a major affliction to germs and do not want to share other peoples' germs just because they cannot wash their hands like normal people would.
