What is the fastest car in the world?

    Well, the fastest production car in the world is a misnomer. You can add aftermarket products (approved by the auto maker) that will change the car. For example, the Dodge Viper has an aftermarket package that can be added by Venom industries making it the Dodge Viper Venom, one of these cars actually outran a Maclaren F1. So, I guess it all depends on what you call a production car.

    • A production car is as it was produced by the manufacturer. If you modify it, it's no longer a production car.
