Help answer this question below.

A guy I'm dating acts like he is in love with me, but he says he only wants a casual relationship. He is in his 30s but has only really had one long-term girlfriend. Could he have commitment problems? How do I handle this scenario?

    Perhaps, he likes to take things slowly. Some people are commitment phobic due to fears of being hurt from past relationships and some just take things more slowly than others.

    I'd suggest that you discuss your feelings with this guy and tell him your concerns, but make sure and be subtle because you don't want to upset him by flat out asking, "Are you commitment phobic?" since this is likely to lead to him getting defensive.

    Bottom-line: Tell him how you feel and see what he says?
