Are the eggs used to make mayonnaise cooked at any point? Meat can be cooked if it's sliced very thinly and placed on a salt rock, traditionally called curing. But does the vinegar used to make mayonnaise have the same effect on the eggs used?

I have just heard that olive oil is the healthiest oil. I will try it and report back. There is a very light olive oil available.

Half canola and half extra light olive oil works just fine! (smile). Add an extra dash of vinegar. The taste is great.
