Help answer this question below.

My daughter is 14 and this kid in her high school is 18 and he asked her to the Prom.Am I being to protective by not letting her go or is this feeling of reluctance normal due to the age difference?Please someone help me out with this

    i'm a guy at 18, and i think that an 18 year old guy asking a 14 year old girl out is sort of weird.

    i think you should say no, personally.

    the thing that's usually on an 18 year old boy's mind is most likely not on your 14 year old daughter's. she may not be expecting to give up what he wants from her.

    then again, not every 18 year old guy is like that.

    in the end it's up to you.
