Either that, or some of the 100,000 OTHER passengers besides you have been rude to them, so they're taking it out on you.
Either way, staying polite is your best bet to avoid being even more of a target than you already are. You DEFINITELY don't want them to haul you off to a room to strip search you!

You're reading Why do TSA employees at the airport have to be so rude most of the time? I'm nice when going through the line but haven't experienced the same courtesy in return.

What you say is so true! Just listen and obey whatever they say. To innocent people, it may seem unfair (and it probably is), but going through the security line is no place to question their authority.
I guess TSA employees don't need to be polite, friendly, respectful etc. But they also should not act like a**&oles either.
