please be a little more vague? human, mammals, birds, fish, plants, all species. A good guess would be about half +/- 10 percent? 320,414,245,127 metric tons.

    • EGAD! Why did this get such a negative review! They're my thoughts exactly. Question didn't say male of what species! Well, I rated you up from -5 to -3. Best I can do. Sorry. A reasonable answer, I'd say. Though I think you shouldn't have kept 12 digit precision. Particularly when your guess involves plus or minus 10%!

    • I didn't downrate you, but it's unlikely the answer of tonnage will be helpful, since the questionner wanted to know "how many" which means a number of individuals. And you oughtn't to blame your rater, because unhelpful answers are what downrates are intended for. If you edit your answer to include the number of male individuals for each of "human, mammals, birds, fish, plants, all species", then you'll get a lot of points.
