    Technically, yes - although I would say that because they are so far apart in physical characteristics, that the puppies would either spontaneously abort because they would not likely form correctly or, if they were born, they run the risk of being seriously defective.

    For instance, poor selection of cross breeding often leads to hip problems because the puppies get the hips of one breed and the legs of the other or heart problems where the heart is the wrong size for the chest etc. Other defects like blindness and or deafness often occur when breeds that should not be crossed are bred.

    It is a VERY bad idea to just experiment with cross-breeding because the end result could be very cruel and the puppies could really suffer.
