My lazor is not reading the disk should i buy a new lazor?

  When we put in Outlaw Golf 2 it tells us the title requires 94KB of free space at all times on a memory card (PS2) to manage Your Network Configuration file. We have erased almost all memory card and it gets stuck on this screen and won't let us play.

  My ps2 plays three games ffx msg2 and tony hawk three doesn't play dvd's or any other game it seems just took apart and cleaned with no luck anything else i can do?

  My PS2 will begin to load a game and show the "Playstation 2" screen, then return to the browser, will it will again recognize the disk, but if I try to load it, it repeats the process!!! Help please!?
