Our biology teacher told us that plants give off carbon dioxide (and he wasn't testing us). How can I report an incompetent teacher?

your teacher is absolutely right . Do some research before you start your witch hunt. Here is some thing else you likely don't want to hear. It takes oxygen to rot plants down to compost. Lots of it
