Help answer this question below.

I met a guy who swept me off my feet immediately, then two months later he's distant and hard to reach, even though he just gave me the key to his place. What's going on here?

    Any number of things could be happening. It sounds like maybe he's reached the 'comfortable' point, though it may seem he's reached it rather quickly and suddenly. Maybe he feels that now, since you have the key to his apartment, he doesn't need to try hard to swoon you anymore, or be at your every call, so he's gone into some sort of comfort mode.

    Some guys do this (certainly not all of us), and some women do it to their boyfriends too. He may also just be the type of person that feels when you have that much of a part in their life, to have possession of the apartment key, then the relationship is at some sort of stable, constant mode where you don't need to be together at every moment.

    Personally, I don't like how this sounds. I've never done this to anyone in the past, most particularly not my girlfriend/fiancé. None of my friends have ever done such a thing either...it seems rather unusual for a person to become distant after such an important step as handing over the apartment key.

    I would sit him down and talk with him...bring up the fact that you feel like you don't see much of each other anymore, and that he's becoming hard to reach. If the relationship is only 2 months along (probably longer by now), you should definitely evaluate whether or not its worth staying in if he's going to be pulling something like this so early in the relationship.
