I'm a little confused. Is your fiance' the one receiving the payments or the one paying? If your fiance' is the one receiving payments, then, yes, you should keep all receipts and keep a journal of all payments. If you are successful in getting a garnishment or a child support withholding order in place, the money will be taken out of her paycheck (assuming she's employed and stays employed). This is the very best way for any child support or child support arrearage to be paid.
