Why do I get a "disc read error" when I insert my action replay?

    You need to have your laser adjusted. Theres about 4 -6 different kinds of ps2 and about 3 different lasers. None of them are all that great. If its sitting on the floor or anywhere that it can collect dust, I recommend sitting it on top of box or something that will elevate it from that dust. Get the laser adjusted and/ or cleaned. Your local Game stop or gaming store should have that information of who can adjust that for you. Just FYI, there is a very very thin cable near the laser, if it is broken while trying to clean the laser, your ps2 is done. Dont try to do it yourself in other words.
