When I sniff the inside of the tub in my washing machine, there is a strong smell of mold. The machine is used daily. What could be the cause?

    Mold, of course! I don't know the size of your machine, but the last I heard there is no form of life that can stand a high concentration of bleach. If running a short cycle with no clothing or soap, just two cups of bleach, doesn't clean it out, I'd be very surprised. Also, a neighbor found that she had to leave the door open between cycles so it could dry out.
