Does CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) actually work? It seems too good to be true!

    Yes it does!
    Most if not all of your behavior is the cognitive response to stimuli. If you have the willpower to investagate and change your cognitions you can change the way that you behave.
    It may seem too good to be true but it most likely is not. Most behavioral problems (that can be treated with this type of therapy) come from automatic cognitions based on misconceptions of the past. Many of thees thoughts or cognitions are not only hard to identify but even harder to change.
